Description
Sarbendra Nath Shukla is a member of the Loktantrik Samajwadi Party. He was elected as a member of the House of Representatives in 2047 BS from RPP(Thapa) in 2047 BS. Shukla resigned from his post as the deputy chairman of Rupandehi District Development Committee during the mid-term elections in 2071 BS and was elected as a member of the House of Representatives, 2071 BS from RPP(Thapa). Shukla has served as the Minister of Water Resources, 2052 BS, Minister of Commerce, 2061 BS, Minister of Communication, 2054 BS, Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation and Culture, Forest and Land Conservation and Land Reforms and Administration, 2061 BS and Minister of Education, 2066 BS. He has also served as the chairman of Nepal Electricity Authority in 2061 BS.
