Description
Thapa is the general secretary of the Nepali Congress. He was a Constituent Assembly member under the proportional representation system during the first Constituent Assembly. He was elected to the second Constituent Assembly under direct category from Kathmandu-4 in 2070BS. He was also elected as a House of Representative member in the federal and provincial elections in 2017. He served as Minister of Health and Population in 2073BS.
