Description
Khel Prasad Buda Chhetri , born in 1975 in Pedang of ward 5 of Sirijanga Rural Municipality in Taplejung, is a central committee member of the Communist Party of Nepal. In the 2022 election, he was defeated by CPN-UML’s Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai by just 220 votes. Having studied up to the Intermediate of Science level, he taught at a school in his village. While still in the teaching profession, he joined the armed conflict and spent a long period underground.
